Synchronized Swimming

Posted on | June 10, 2009 | 2 Comments

Aesthetics, harmony, and athleticism in the water – synchronised swimming offers plenty of entertainment for the audience, which will be admitted to the events free of charge space permitting. We are looking forward to the entire spectrum of performances that will include elegance and/or humour.

The competitions are held in solo, duet, trio, team and combi. A team has a minimum of 4 members and a maximum of 10 members. The competitions for solo, duet, trio and group are comprised of a technical as well as a freestyle presentation. The competitions will sanctioned by the German Federation in conjunction with FINA, and will be sanctioned by International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics.

I am wondering who is the Synchronized Swimming coach. I am a male synchronized swimmer and the current head coach for a local US Synchro Club in Beaverton. I would like to be involved. You can reach me at 562-257-8888.

    Regards,
    John

Hey John – Right now, we are not aware of any organized effort to take a synchronized swimming team to Cologne, but we think it would be great! We will definitely give you a call to chat about this.
